FULL-TIME, 40 HOURS PER WEEK, EVENING SHIFT, MONDAY-FRIDAY, 3:00PM-11:30PM WITH WEEKEND AND HOLIDAY ROTATION
SUMMARY:
Assists the management team in providing in depth technical information as requested. Performs laboratory procedures to obtain results for physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases using established protocols that require the broad exercise of independent judgment and responsibility with minimal technical supervision. Works independently and communicates effectively with other healthcare professionals.

Required Skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education/Experience:
Must meet CLIA 88 personnel requirements for moderate and high complexity testing. Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related science field from an accredited institution; or, must meet CLIA grandfathered medical technologist requirements. At least four years of experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
Math Ability:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions independently. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Good organizational the human relation skills.
Computer Skills:
Ability to use Microsoft Office products and various other computer software including Laboratory Information System.
Certificates and Licenses:
Specialty certification by a recognized certifying agency for clinical laboratory professionals preferred (ASCP, ASMT, NCA, etc). Must actively demonstrate the pursuance of specialty certification in chosen field of clinical expertise.
