travelers around the globe. We are currently seeking a Payroll Analyst
to assist during our implementation of new HR systems for a 6 month
contract. This role will be based in our North American regional office
in Reston, VA office reporting to the Director, Benefits. Job Summary:
Position supports the weekly or semi-monthly payroll processing
activities. Position provides assistance to the other areas in the group
during peak times or absences. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Ultipro
- Process Regional and Field weekly or semi-monthly payroll * Run
standard reports for each payroll and save on shared Payroll drive *
Maintain support for each payroll processed and save in the appropriate
shared folder * Process daily payroll changes received via the Payroll
Ticketing System * Process manual checks as needed * The Analyst
responsible for salaried payroll will also assist with the following: *
Download payroll Journal Entries (JE) and send to accounting for SAP
posting * Generate Quarterly and Annual tax files and send to Ceridian *
Assist the Senior Payroll Manager with GL mapping issues related to JE
entries * Assist the Senior Payroll Manager with bank reconciliation
issues * Assist the Senior Payroll Manager with tax notices ADP and
Ceridian * Create weekly or semi-monthly payroll tax files for each
payroll and transmit to Ceridian * Generate ADP Checks and Direct
Deposit files and submit to ADP * Resolve ADP Checks and DD issues *
Assist with ADP payroll delivery issues * Assist with annual W-2
preparation and filings * Assist with payroll audits, as needed
Qualifications Education: * Associate Degree Preferred Work Experience:
- 3-5 years payroll experience in a multi-company, multi-state
environment required * Experience with Ultimate Software (UltiPro), ADP
compliance and Ceridian tax service is preferred Technical Skills:
(Certification, Licenses and Registration) * Certified Payroll
Professional credential preferred Language / Communication Skills: *
Ability to communicate well with internal and external customers
verbally and in writing at all levels of employees and in many
