VIP Service Representative: The Promotions Representative is responsible for the execution of promotions on the casino floor and supports the casino marketing events. In addition, the position assists all casino guests and encourages participation in the Loyalty program. The Small Details: There are a couple of things that we need from you to make sure you are the right candidate! Education and Experience * Promotes and Executes casino promotions flawlessly; * Appears at events, functions/parties at the request of Marketing; * Must have detailed knowledge of all property promotions and be able to effectively communicate; * Effectively and enthusiastically communicate the benefits of the customer loyalty program and provide players with a compelling reason to play at Greektown Casino; * Creates and maintains customer accounts using Greektownâ??s computer system; * Tele-market guests as instructed; * Issue comps in accordance with comp guidelines; * Coordinate with Host/Executive fulfillment for all requests through constant communication and consistent follow-up with all support departments (i.e. hotel, restaurants, limo, valet, etc.) * Greet and welcome customers at VIP Lounge; * Work in different areas of Player Development as requested by Marketing Management; * Comply with all health and safety standards; * Ensure a safe working environment for team members; * Comply and enforce all company policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and be available to work on a regular basis; * Ensure that Superior Guest Service levels are met according to Standard Operating Procedures; and * Other job-related duties as assigned. * Must possess excellent customer service skills and the desire to provide our Greektown Casino guests with an exceptional gaming experience; * Will be required to develop a clear understanding of the function of all departments within the casino atmosphere in order to best direct the requests and concerns of the guest; * Must demonstrate a positive public image and ability to speak publicly; * Ability to communicate in a clear, accurate and concise manner, both orally and in writing is required; * Must possess basic computer skills; * Must be able to take direction and follow through on details; * Must be able to understand and comply with all departmental and Company rules, regulations, policies and procedures; * Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information required. * High school diploma or equivalent required; * Minimum one (1) year prior experience in customer service required Certificate/License * Michigan Gaming Occupational Level Two License.
