  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    As the Engineering Technician 3 , you will enhance resort operations by undertaking various facilities maintenance tasks, including project management, preventive maintenance, and fulfilling work orders.

    • Diagnose and repair plumbing fixtures, including unclogging, repairs, and equipment replacement.
    • Manage and perform guest calls, blitzes, repairs, and preventative maintenance as directed.
    • Carry out preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and replace components on HVAC and mechanical equipment.
    • Expertly troubleshoot and repair electrical components such as breakers, contactors, and others.
    • Skilled in diagnosing and fixing household appliances and fixtures.
    • Install, repair, and replace tile, grout, vinyl, and carpet, as necessary.
    • Perform and lead small construction tasks, including drywall, carpentry, concrete, and flooring.
    • Proficient in operating resort operations devices and software, such as HotSOS.
    • Actively participate in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available on-site.
    • Communicate professionally through radios, phones, emails, and verbal interactions.
    • Positively interact with guests to understand and address their needs effectively.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by resort operations leadership.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on trade & facilities maintenance experience in a resort or commercial environment.
    • Must be energetic, self-motivated, and articulate, with a strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to be versatile, work well under pressure and execute to meet deadlines.
    • Must be available to work on weekends and holidays.
    • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
    • CPO license and HVAC certification is required.
    • EPA certification is preferred but not required.
