The purpose of this role is to assist Hyatt colleagues from all over the US, including but not limited to directors, managers, and vice presidents, with human resources and payroll support/processing while upholding Hyatt policies and procedures. In addition, the HR specialist is the subject matter expert for Hyatt Human Resources, Human Resources Systems and Payroll processes. __ Essential Functions: * Establish and maintain accurate colleague records in the HRIS * Prepare files and necessary calculations and information for payroll processing * Assist with monthly accounting reports * Receive and handle incoming calls and faxes * Create and run reports in HRIS as necessary * Seek opportunities for process improvement and create and or update processes as needed to create HR and Payroll efficiencies * Train HR colleagues as needed on necessary policies and procedures * Travel to assist hotels, as well as hotel openings, closings, and/or acquisitions

    • Assist colleagues with questions as needed * Anticipate colleague needs * Maintain confidentiality in all matters * Maintain the integrity of all colleague files in accordance with the established policies and procedures * Subject matter expert in Hyatt human resources and payroll information and policies * Maintain a work environment that is comfortable, user-friendly, and organized * Ensure that actions and behaviors enhance and protect Hyatts culture * Perform miscellaneous duties as directed * Regular attendance is expected based on schedule and business needs * Participation in employee events, onsite meetings, hotel visits and industry conferences is expected _ _The ideal candidate will also possess the following behavior characteristics:__ * Ability to adapt to new demands, reprioritize workload and address urgent demands quickly * Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully to all associates and all internal/external resources * Eagerness and ability to learn new skills, technologies and business processes quickly * Ability to work well with others * Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and across all levels of the organization * Must be able to work inclusively, but also be able to work independently and without excessive supervision\guidance * Ability to maintain confidential employee information * Attention to detail * Very well organized Requirements * 3+ years Human Resources experience * 2+ years working experience with HRIS * 2+ years customer service experience * 2+ Years working with high volume HR requests (1,000+ colleagues) * Ability to travel 30% * High school diploma or equivalent * Strong customer service skills * Strong organizational skills * Intermediate Microsoft experience * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent problem solving skills * Ability to travel 30% * Working Experience with ADP a plus * Working experience with a ticketing system a plus * PHR, SPHR, GPHR, SHRM SCP, SHRM-CP a plus * Bachelors Degree in HR or related field a plus **Primary Location: **US-OK-Moore **Work Locations: ** **Job: **Human Resources **Organization: **Hyatt **Job Level: **Administrative **Schedule: **Full-time
