Responsibilities include detailed cleaning of dishes, cookware, and utensils, as well as polishing stainless steel and silverware. Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently and maintain workspace organization. - Ensure cleanliness by meticulously cleaning kitchen tools, surfaces, and equipment. Participate in deep cleaning efforts to uphold high hygiene standards. Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA regulations as a Safety & Security Officer. Notify maintenance or security personnel promptly of any concerns for a secure work environment. Responsibilities: • Ensure all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. • Assist in the receiving and storage of food and supplies to maintain proper inventory management. • Aid kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients. • Follow food safety standards and regulations diligently to prevent contamination and uphold quality standards. • Keep the workspace clean and organized to support efficient kitchen operations. Qualifications: • Must have availability to work on weekends. • Previous experience in a hotel and dishwashing is preferred. • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently is required. • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently. • Capable of standing for long periods without sitting or leaning, and able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach. • Near Vision ability is necessary to see details up close. • Must be agile and quick to respond in situations requiring immediate assistance. • Strong multitasking skills and effective communication in English are essential. Compensation: $15.25 - $16.50 hourly
