Check your email regularly for information regarding our employment process. text POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for all monetary transactions and exchanges with customers and casino pit. Works in all related areas of the Casino Cage, which includes all banks, frontline, Casino Credit and Satellite Bank. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKS: Performing customer service with a "smile". Issuing and redeeming markers and customer deposits/withdrawals for cash, chips and Cashiers Checks. Cashing checks for cash, utilizing computer terminals for credit players, using Certegy, Global, Central Credit, TITO and E-PAC. Creating Front Money Accounts including scanning of ID and customer signature card (application). Performing Credit/Debit Card transactions through cash advance systems. Exchanging foreign currency and chips. Chip exchanges with other Casinos. Posting Air Fare and Misc. Disbursements in players club. All must be logged in Title 31. Following all policies and procedures in regards to self- limit customers. Verify players club for all checks cashed, all cash advances, and chip cash outs at 3k and above for self limit guests. Maintaining imprest bank, transactions amp; paperwork organized and adhering to turn-in timelines of Main/Chip Banks. Maintain and have complete understanding of Main Bank, Chip Bank, Marker Bank, Front Line Window, High Limit Slot Cage, Poker Cage, Satellite Cage, Cage Credit, and NRT Functions . Maintaining thorough Title 31 knowledge. Log all cash transactions of 5k and above amp; log all checks at 3k and above. Verifying all currency in cashier imprest bank with-in 2 hours of the shift. Establish new accounts, process documents required for credit/check cashing with policy amp; regulatory guidelines. Prepare reports, assign company funds, record department revenues, and verify Main Bank cash, coin, amp; documents. Preparing bank deposits, accounting reports, research projects and balance assigned funds. Scanning all negotiable documents for deposit (checks, markers, RTM's, 3-Mil Checks, Travelers Check etc.) Rotating all chips $100 and above when in the Chip Bank. With-in 2 hours of beginning of shift.. Maintain/balance Marker Bank including customer deposits, casino/non-casino RTM's, counter check deposits, mail-ins etc. Completing Cashier Manual training. Covering shifts for Casino Credit and Satellite Bank during busy times and vacations as scheduled. Accepting and verifying all cage location transactions and transfers. Completing complete NRT drops on a daily basis Verifying all slot tax forms for state and federal taxes. Verify all slot jackpots and forward correctly to accounting. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of casino cage or banking experience required, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Mississippi Gaming Permit KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Must have excellent money handling. Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment. Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude and ability to deal effectively with guests, management, employees and outside contacts Good attendance, a "positive" attitude, team player skills are a must. Basic computer skills are necessary. PHYSICAL DEMAND: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly sitting, listening, using computer, telephone, and speaking. Occasionally walking distances of 10 to 30 ft., between various areas of the Department. Frequently using wrist motion, dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and writing, typing on computer keyboard. Occasionally carrying, pushing, pulling documents up to 50 lbs. WORKING CONDITIONS: Work performed indoors, in climate controlled environment. Employee may be exposed to dust and secondhand smoke.
