Check your email regularly for information regarding our employment process. text POSITION SUMMARY: It is the primary responsibility of the Employment Specialist to coordinate all pre-employment clearances and ensure background, I-9, and licensing requirements are in compliance with all federal, state, and local agencies. nbsp;The Employment Specialist will have a full understanding of the propertys service culture, initiatives, mission, guidelines and policies, as well as possess strong communication skills to accurately relay this information to all employees. nbsp;nbsp;All duties are to be performed in accordance with company and property policies, practices, and procedures and meet all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements in licensing, certifications, registrations and corporate training requirements. * Process and coordinate requests for pre-employment clearances, license verifications, and follow up with candidates as necessary to ensure timely completion in accordance with policy. * Prepare and submit Gaming Control Board applications, Alcohol Beverage Control applications,nbsp; and reports as required * Process new hires, ensuring compliance as related to I-9s and other requirements * Establish that internal controls are adequately evaluated and implemented and processes are operating efficiently * Make recommendations on changes and enhancements to all compliance processes and procedures to better align with business needs and requirements * Verify data integrity and compliance through consistent monitoring and auditing * Monitors all license amp; certification verifications and expirations for the property through Workday * Monitors all corporate and property compliance training requirements and distributes reports as necessary * Provide excellentnbsp; customer service consistent with the propertys core service standards to Beau Rivage employees and external clients while assisting with Human Resources questions and requests * Provide guest service to internal and external customers by consistently demonstrating property guest service standards * Support guests in person and over the phone with application questions, Workday, Hire Right, drug screening, new hire processing documents , and all other systems applicable to the hiring process * Conduct new hire orientation scheduling and confirmation communication * Assist in all phases of applicant amp; new hire check-in * Perform general administrative duties such as answering telephone calls, scheduling appointments, reading/sorting postal mail, sending faxes, reading/printing email and making photocopies * Provides useful suggestions and recommendations to employeesnbsp; to enhance their candidate new-hire experience * Performs special projects as requested by department management * Ensure timely completion of transactional requests and special projects * Maintain strict confidentiality * Performs other duties as required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Required:nbsp; * High School Diploma or equivalent * Two years Human Resources employment administrative experience Preferred: * Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business Administration * Experience in Workday and Workday Recruitment * I-9 Experience * Previous experience in luxury resort setting KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
