Job Description: Market Leader DC or Virginia
Our client, a prominent player in the industrial sector, is seeking an experienced Market Leader to drive growth and lead teams in DC or Virginia. This high-impact role requires a proactive approach to revenue growth, team development, and market positioning, and it comes with a competitive and lucrative compensation package.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $200K managerial base salary
- Commission Structure: Aggressive commission splits that reward high performance and client acquisition success
- Profit Participation: Monthly profit participation bonuses once profitability targets are met, encouraging strategic growth and efficiency
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Expansion & Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies to grow top-line revenue, increase market share, and maximize profitability across the assigned regions.
- Team Building & Development: Hire, mentor, and lead a team of top-tier brokers and support staff.
- Mentorship & Training: Provide training and career development for junior brokers, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
- Client Acquisition & Retention: Lead client acquisition efforts, pitch new business, and cultivate lasting relationships to drive sustainable revenue.
- Financial Oversight: Assist in budget creation, manage expenses, and provide comprehensive financial reporting to corporate and board leadership.
- Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth, high-standard service delivery and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Broker’s License: Active real estate broker’s license in the applicable state(s), or willingness to obtain one within an agreed-upon timeframe.
- Experience: Significant experience in market expansion, team management, and industrial real estate transactions.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities are essential, as is the capacity to convey complex information clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Travel Requirements: Must be open to regular travel across DC and Virginia to support team operations and client relationships.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to meet business demands and client needs.
Additional Qualifications:
- Strong leadership skills and a track record of building and managing successful teams
- High level of organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills, adaptable to different teams and client dynamics
- Proficiency in relevant real estate management software and tools is a plus
