AREA SUPERVISORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR RUNNING PROFITABLE RESTAURANTS AND FOR MAKING SURE THE RESTAURANTS MEET MCDONALD’S CRITICAL CUSTOMER SERVICE STANDARDS OF QUALITY, SERVICE, AND CLEANLINESS.
OUR STANDARDS ARE HIGH, SO THIS IS A BIG JOB. AREA SUPERVISORS COLLABORATE WITH HIS/HER LEADER TO SET THE RESTAURANT’S GOALS AND CREATE A PLAN TO ACHIEVE THOSE GOALS.
TO MEET RESTAURANT GOALS, THE AREA SUPERVISOR DOES NOT WORK ALONE. HE OR SHE COACHES THE GENERAL MANAGERS AND A TEAM OF DEPARTMENT MANAGERS THAT HAVE SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE RESTAURANT. IN MCDONALD’S, THIS MEANS HELPING THE DEPARTMENT MANAGERS TO SET THEIR OWN GOALS, FOLLOWING UP ON THEIR PROGRESS, AND PROVIDING COACHING AND DIRECTION TO IMPROVE THEIR DEPARTMENTS.
AREA SUPERVISORS ARE ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR DEVELOPING EACH MANAGER TO MAKE SURE THAT THE RESTAURANTS HAVE THE RIGHT TEAM TO LEAD INTO THE FUTURE.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
MINIMUM FIVE YEARS OF FOODSERVICE AS AREA SUPERVISOR EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED)
EXCELLENT REFERENCES
