    Recruiter & Trainer Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Choices 49 reviews - Franklin, IN Overview The Staff Recruiter and Trainer is responsible for a successful recruiting and retention program, primarily for the Nursing Department. Responsible for assisting with the promotion of nursing staff openings and the interviewing of prospective employees. Coordinate with nursing leadership and assist in the hiring, scheduling, evaluation, and retention of nursing staff. Facilitate initial nursing performance evaluation at the end of staff members probationary period. The Recruiter/Trainer will also create, organize, conduct and evaluate all in-service programs for all departments and every employee of the Community. Provide orientation of the facility for affiliating nursing students whose schools have contracts with Otterbein Franklin SeniorLife Community and serve as liaison to school faculty. Perform all related tasks associated with the Human Resources Department, training needs/opportunities, and hiring/retention of nursing staff. The Recruiter/Trainer will also administer creations of Point Click Care accounts to supply access for employees and other professionals with rounding and signing privileges. Additionally, the Recruiter/Trainer will serve as the manager of the information posted on the employee & resident information screens on campus. Responsibilities * Design and Facilitate a Staff Recruitment and Retention Program, with Emphasis on the Nursing Departments * Facilitate Initial Nursing Performance Evaluation at End of Probationary Period * Create, Organize, Conduct and Evaluate In-service Programs * Organize and Conduct In-service Programs in Conjunction with the Purchase/Use of Equipment or Medical Supplies, Revision of Nursing Policies and Procedures, Plans of Correction with the Indiana State Board of Health, and all Other Requests * Provide Orientation to the Facility for Affiliating Nursing Students * Conduct special projects or assignments as requested from the Human Resources Manager or Administration Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to use the Communitys computerized time clock system, Ultipro Touch, and become familiar with Ultipro Self Serve, our employee self-service software, ICIMs, our applicant tracking system and Relias, our electronic training platform, and more. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, and walk. The employee must occasionally lift, carry, and/or move up to 75 pounds. May at times be required to work with equipment requiring physical exertion such as pushing/pulling medication/treatment carts weighing 150 pounds a distance of 600 feet. Must be able to clearly speak at a volume adaptable to the hearing impaired. Must be able to hear normal volume sounds and voice patterns with constant background noise. Must be able to receive and follow verbal and written instruction. Must be able to smell smoke, spoiled foods, incontinent residents, etc. Must be able to respond to audible emergency signals, alarms, call lights and telephones. Must be able to read regular/small size print in multiple colors. Must be able to remember multiple assignments over an extended period of time. Be able to remember data derived from assessments and document, review, specific requests, ideas and concepts and relate them as necessary.
