We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pantry Cook to join our culinary team at Bayshore Club.

The Pantry Cook will play a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality preparation and presentation of cold food items and salads. This position requires attention to detail, creativity, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and assemble cold food items, salads, and appetizers according to established recipes and presentation standards.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry station, including refrigerators, workstations, and storage areas.

Ensure all food products are fresh and properly stored, following food safety guidelines.

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient food production.

Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies when needed.

Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of food items.

Contribute ideas for menu development and participate in seasonal menu changes.

Adhere to Bayshore's culinary standards and guidelines for consistency and quality.

Assist with any other kitchen duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Pantry Cook or similar role in a restaurant or culinary establishment.

Knowledge of cold food preparation techniques, including salad and appetizer assembly.

Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Creativity and a passion for culinary excellence.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

A culinary degree or certification is a plus, but not required.
