President – Staffing Firm
Location: Oakbrook, IL (Onsite)
Compensation: $175K -$200K base plus commission (15%contract/10%perm) + plus 5% bonus on ebitda
Relocation: Available for the right individual

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and dynamic President to lead and grow our Oakbrook-based staffing firm. As the face of the organization, this individual will embody leadership, drive growth, and inspire a high-performing team to achieve excellence in recruitment, client relationships, and operational success. This role is ideal for a proven staffing manager or leader with 3–10 years of experience managing teams and growing business units.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Growth
- Act as the owner of the branch, developing and executing a strategic vision to move the organization forward.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 3 Recruiter/Account Managers, 1 Recruiting Manager, and administrative support staff to exceed performance targets.
- Drive business growth by building strong relationships with clients, enhancing service delivery, and identifying new opportunities for expansion.
Strategic Initiatives
- Spearhead a New Approach to Professional Recruitment to align with market demands.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and partner.
- Evaluate and implement technology enhancements, including tools like the 24/7 app, to improve operational efficiency.
- Elevate the recruitment team's effectiveness through coaching, training, and intentional development.
Operational Excellence
- Manage branch P&L, ensuring profitability and operational efficiency.
- Partner with the administrative team on credentialing, payroll, and billing to maintain smooth operations.
- Create a game plan for achieving operational goals and execute with precision.
Client & Team Collaboration
- Partner with account managers to maintain and grow client relationships, resolve issues, and drive mutual success.
- Train team members to foster collaboration and build strong partnerships internally and externally.
- Serve as a hands-on leader, actively engaging in client development and team support.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3–10 years of staffing industry experience in roles such as Regional Manager, Branch Manager, or VP of Operations.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams with a focus on growth and operational excellence.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of staffing industry operations, including P&L management, recruitment strategies, and client relationship development.
- Technology: Comfortable evaluating and implementing technology solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Communication: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a track record of client engagement and team mentorship.
- Relocation: Open to relocating to Oakbrook, IL, with relocation assistance available for the right candidate.
- Onsite Leadership: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Oakbrook, IL, with an onsite presence to lead the team effectively.
