Qualifications

Education and Experience
- Possess a valid Florida driver’s license and a clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of experience as a spray technician
- Ability to direct work, train, and provide feedback as needed
- Proficiency in English communication
- Ability to read and understand pesticide/fertilizer labels and SDS sheets
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs, walk for extended periods, work in the heat, and perform other duties associated with the position
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, as long as it is safe
- Punctual in reporting to work
- Prior experience with a Z-Spray is a plus
Language Skills
- Must communicate effectively with immediate supervisors and resort leadership
- Written and verbal communication in English is expected
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Valid driver’s license
- Certifications related to fertilizer and pest management (preferred)
- Pesticide license is required
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
- Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Must occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
