Based out of our Support Center in Calabasas Hills CA, the Employee Relations Specialists core focus will be assisting with staff and manager concerns. This includes, initial intake of staff complaints, conducting investigations, reviewing, writing and assisting management with delivering disciplinary notices and recommendations on employment decisions, including terminations. This role will also be responsible for supporting company compliance initiatives such as policy and procedure administration, employee handbook and other programs. Heres more of what youll get to do: * Supports investigations and inquiries involving a broad range of business management subject matters and/or Human Resources situations (e.g. claims of harassment, policy violations, etc.). * Provides support, advice and counsel to key stake holders, Operations Leadership, and employees regarding personnel practices, policy, and employment laws and provides recommended courses of action. * Administer a broad range of tasks including resolving complaints, counseling Supervisors and employees on the interpretation of policies, procedures. * Monitors business practices and applies knowledge to ensure compliance with all federal, state, local and company guidelines, laws and employment regulations. * Model and teaches the companys core mission, vision and values while practicing and promoting integrity and ethical behavior. * Create Key Reporting utilizing the case management system, Ethics Point for analysis. * Analyze and dissect Data/Case Analysis to support investigative findings. * Ensure adherence to company and legal processes for policies and procedures. Qualifications What we require: * 3+ years of Employee Relations/Investigations experience * Bilingual in Spanish * Knowledgeable of state laws relating to all Human Resources practices * Exceptional computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook * Ability to use a high level of tact, diplomacy, discretion and empathy/understanding in a business environment with a diverse employee base What we prefer: * BA or BS or equivalent * PHR/SPHR Benefits: This position offers industry-leading benefits including; medical, dental, vision, 401K with match, tuition reimbursement and a sabbatical after five years of employment for qualifying staff members.
