Job Duties/ Responsibilities      

Responsible for loading delivery trucks or warehousing finished goods based on order specifications.

•  Complete and document a forklift inspection form before start of shift and when operating a new forklift and turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs
•  Remove finished goods from machines
•  Maintain neat, orderly and safe stacks of stock in storage areas
•  Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
•  Maintain accurate location of stock in storage area by paperwork and computer. 
•  Assist other forklift operators as necessary and is backup to shipping lead person
•  Comply with all company polices and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping

•  Able to read and follow instructions on factory tickets
•  Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy
• Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate 
• Able to apply concepts of high school math
• Willingness to submit to background investigation and drug screening.
•  Must have a working knowledge of the following:
• Equipment design and capabilities that can be translated info efficient operation
• Product layouts and production specifications
• Product quality specifications
• Basic knowledge of quality systems ISO 9001-2000

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS 

• High school diploma or GED
• Candidates are PREFERRED who offer the following:
• Prior work experience in the corrugated industry
• Prior work experience as a forklift operator.

Work Environment

• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
• Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions
• Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles, and vibration
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud
