SUMMARY: The primary result expected from the Operations Project Implementation Manager is to, align, partner, lead, and provide support for project cross-functional teams, ensuring new item launch, product change, and special projects are implemented using defined best practice based project delivery approach while achieving the required business results (strategies, initiatives and priorities).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Forms strong relationships across the organization enabling negotiation of priorities and delivery of the business plan.
- Determine objectives and the best approach for projects including scheduling, resource planning, and coordination of activities.
- Leads and/or partners in cross-functional projects that drive operational growth, improvement, and/or optimization in alignment with the strategic plan or initiatives.
- Utilizes disciplined processes and tools to successfully initiate, execute, complete, close and check projects.
- Utilizing BI skills, organizes and analyzes data to evaluate options and support recommendations.
- Proactively ensure synchronization of work and manage dependencies across teams to ensure the successful implementation of projects.
- Ensures the overall performance of projects delivering On Time In Full (OTIF), taking corrective action, and escalating as necessary.
- Establishes cadence, prepares reviews and presents to project sponsor(s) and other teams as required
- Collaborates with and supports Director, PMO to achieve operational project goals.
- Maintain positive work relationships with members of other teams to communicate effectively, and to ensure compliance with cross-team responsibilities.
- Ability to successfully interface with all levels of the organization.
- Adheres to Rust-Oleum Corporation Quality principles and participate in departmental and company-wide Quality activities.

Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or another technical discipline) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Project Management.
- Understands operational financial measures and how they are generated
- Ability to motivate others to take action dictated by data
- Ability to lead and collaborate with teams in the achievement of initiatives
- Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- BI super user, power user and SAP experience preferred.
- Ability to successfully interface with all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
