What You’ll Do
As a Client Service Summer Associate, you'll take on a communication-intensive role focused on identifying and engaging with industry experts — the specialists who provide key knowledge our clients rely on for important decisions. By deeply understanding project needs, you'll play a key part in connecting our clients with the right expertise.
After completing our in-depth training at the New Joiner Academy, you’ll be equipped to handle the following responsibilities:
Expert Sourcing: Use our internal database and external directories to identify specialists who match the client’s project requirements.
Cold Calling & Outreach: Proactively reach out to potential experts via phone and email, often through cold calls, to engage them for specific projects.
Project Understanding: Analyze client briefs to understand the expert profile needed for each project.
Expert Engagement: Build relationships with experts, explain the project context, and coordinate their participation through interviews, meetings, or surveys.
Coordination & Follow-Up: Manage all expert-related logistics, ensuring seamless communication and timely scheduling for each project.
You will also have the opportunity to:
Participate in career-building workshops on essential topics like resume writing, transitioning into the workforce, and maintaining strong work-life wellness, equipping you with the skills and insights to succeed as a well-rounded business professional.
Lead and present a capstone project to senior leadership, providing you with the opportunity to further refine your critical thinking, commercial acumen, and communication skills.
Opportunity to receive a full-time employment offer to return post-graduation. Explore what it’s like to work as a full-time Associate through our virtual job simulation.
What You’ll Gain
In addition to gaining transferable, hands-on commercial and client management experience, you’ll develop a set of key skills that will be invaluable throughout your career:
Drive: You’ll learn how to stay motivated and resilient, taking ownership of your work and seeking responsibility. You’ll sharpen your ability to understand project requirements and find solutions to ensure success.
Coachability: As you learn and grow, you’ll ask the right questions, quickly absorb feedback, and apply it to improve your performance and make informed decisions.
Credibility: You’ll strengthen your verbal and written communication skills, learning to adjust your style for different audiences and influence positive outcomes.
Problem Solving: You’ll develop a proactive mindset, learning to anticipate challenges and think strategically to overcome obstacles and deliver results.
