As an Armed Security Officer, you will perform foot and/or vehicle patrols, control access points, monitor surveillance systems, respond to emergencies, and prevent criminal activities. Your role is crucial in maintaining safety and security across various environments.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS:
We have immediate openings for Armed Security Officers. In this role, you will:
- Conduct armed patrols (interior and/or exterior) on foot or by vehicle
- Control access to the premises and monitor exits
- Operate CCTV and alarm systems
- Draft detailed reports on incidents, accidents, or suspicious activities
- Deter criminal activity and enforce site policies
- Support customers, employees, and visitors professionally and courteously

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct regular security patrols by foot or vehicle
- Identify and address potential security risks or safety hazards
- Respond to alarms and contact emergency services as needed
- Warn individuals of policy infractions (e.g., loitering, smoking)
- Control access and monitor entrances/exits
- Investigate incidents and draft reports
- Assist customers and visitors professionally
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Licensing: Current Armed Security Officer license issued by the State of Florida, Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services
- Experience: Verifiable work history (preferred)
- Skills: Strong communication, active listening, attention to detail, and critical thinking
- Other: Must pass a mental health assessment
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 24 years old
- Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Flexible schedule and reliable transportation required
- Ability to operate radios, telephones, and surveillance equipment
- Subject to a drug screening
- Veterans must provide a DD214 discharge document upon job offer
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Environment: Indoor/outdoor settings, with temperatures ranging from moderate to extreme
- Activities: Walking, standing, observing, minimal stooping or kneeling
