    Haynes Mechanical Systems, a market leader in building automation and commercial HVAC solutions, is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer focusing on outside sales to drive revenue growth through our building analytics and HVAC optimization solutions.

    As an Outside Sales Engineer, you will be at the forefront of providing building analytics and building automation system agreements to high-level decision-makers, including C-suite executives and directors within commercial facilities to increase building performance. You’ll work with critical facilities such as hospitals, data centers, office buildings, sports venues, schools, and more.

    What You’ll Do

    • Develop Sales Strategies: Implement a targeted sales plan to expand Haynes Mechanical Systems' market share within the building automation and energy efficiency sector.
    • Engage with Key Decision-Makers: Build and maintain relationships with facilities managers, property owners, energy consultants, and contractors to understand their unique operational challenges and energy efficiency goals.
    • Market Development: Generate leads and identify new opportunities for growth, while providing feedback on market trends and customer demands.
    • Close High-Value Deals: Prepare and present proposals that clearly communicate ROI, key performance metrics, and implementation timelines, ensuring successful deal closure.

    What You Bring to the Table

    • 5+ years of successful sales experience within the building analytics, HVAC, building automation, or energy management sectors.
    • Technical expertise: A strong understanding of HVAC systems, building automation systems (BAS), IT/OT networks, and energy efficiency principles with the ability to explain complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
    • Results-driven sales acumen with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets in solution-based selling.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required).
