    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Maintenance Sales Representative is responsible for driving new business by prospecting quality customers and selling annual and multi-year maintenance agreements.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned:

    • Master all facets of the maintenance sales process to become productive and self-sufficient
    • Demonstrate sales ability, financial and business knowledge, and operations knowledge to drive new business
    • Qualify prospects, set effective appointments, follow up on leads and referrals, and answer questions and objections proficiently and responsibly.
    • Identify customer needs to influence the customer to buy and generate interest
    • Develop an understanding of the prospect’s decision-making process, address customer concerns, and commit prospect to decision-making timetable
    • Proactively research the prospect’s organization and influence the customer to buy through a thorough analysis of the client's organizational needs
    • Make cold calls and learn how to effectively contact the decision-maker
    • Manage quotes to close sales and maintain an active backlog of quotes
    • Understand vertical market strategies and market forces
    • Communicate professionally and effectively in verbal and written formats

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum 2 years Business-to-Business outside sales experience selling service contracts or agreements.
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license


    Base Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000 base salary depending on proven experience/proficiency. Compensation package includes a base salary, $700 monthly car allowance, and commissions on sales. First-year On Target Earnings (OTE) is $90,000+.

    The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
