Job Description
Byram is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its growing organization and to partner with leadership in sales, product management, operations and finance to support the growth of the Byram’s seven key product categories. The Financial Analyst will have a variety of responsibilities including focus on at least one specific product category; partnering with cross-functional teams in measuring and driving category performance; supporting the annual sales and gross margin budget; and collaborating with the FP&A Team to develop and refine analyses and KPI’s in support of Byram’s strategic initiatives. The Analyst also has a key role in the monthly closing process to prepare reports and analyses for the monthly reporting package for use by Byram’s Senior Management Team and the Senior Leadership of Owens & Minor.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly financial/performance reporting
• Prepare KPI reports and analyses to measure product category and business performance
• Collaborate with FP&A Team and cross-functional teams in measuring and analyzing
• product category performance compared to budget, forecast and prior year
• Support development and analysis of company sales budgets and forecasts
• Support Financial Reporting Team in monthly financial statement variance analysis
• Perform special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed

EDUCATION AND JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE
• BS/BA in Finance, Economics or Accounting required
• Advanced Excel Skills required
• Experience with Business Intelligence Software (Cognos, Power BI, etc.) preferred
• 3 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis required
