Position Summary Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, the Administrative Assistant provides support to the Engineering department including:Tracking, filing and reporting of Product Liability Litigation and Intellectual Property (IP)Preparing Non-Disclosure AgreementsDistributing incoming departmental mail and correspondenceProviding clerical support to Engineering staffMaintaining department calendarMaintaining departmental filing systemCoordinating departmental meetings and lunchesOrdering and maintaining departmental supplies and equipmentOrdering departmental publications as well as R&D items and equipmentProcessing First Articles (FAIRs), Lab Test Reports (LTRs), Requests for Engineering Services (RES) and Warranty ClaimsPreparing expense reports for departmental expendituresProviding back-up support to switchboard/receptionistOther duties as assigned Requirements Position requires a High School Diploma and at least 2 years of administrative experience working in an Engineering department. Paralegal experience is preferred. Must be proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint). Must have demonstrated success in advanced financial modeling and analysis. Qualified candidates will be highly organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task.
