    Job Description

    The Implementation Consultant will provide technical, business consulting and product expertise to customers enabling comprehensive revenue cycle solutions to be delivered to the market (identify and understand customer problems/issues and explain how our products can provide solutions.) 

    • Assess revenue cycle operations, make best-practice recommendations related to workflow redesign, organizational design, and effective change management, and professionally deliver the results of his/her analysis that optimizes our solutions performance and provides the basis for lasting results  
    • Direct process analysis and client workflow evaluation.  Leverage existing or create custom workflow strategies that embed and enhance our Patient Estimates product within clients’ workflows
    • Facilitate technical discussions for project integrations and technical solutions from one to many technical applications
    • Conduct implementation pilots and help customer envision final solution
    • Develop and manage project scope, schedule, and resource including project documentation and reporting via designated tools and templates
    • Monitor adoption and value delivered for implementation clients
    • Validate quality objectives are achieved
    • Schedule client meetings and critical path activities and coordinate internal resource support as needed.
    • Request and schedule testing and training activities with client (in coordination with PMO/Training resources)
    • Manage multiple projects or large programs concurrently, including multi-facility, multi-product programs.
    • Act as SME for Experian’s Patient Estimates solution: pursue and develop a solid understanding of the design architecture and functionality of the Patient Estimates product
    • Provide comprehensive product expertise to product upgrades and product testing
    • Perform gap analysis between current product functionality and business needs and define solutions to gaps
    • Uses internal tools to initiate the build of client facing software and to troubleshoot issues/ drive resolution 
    • Maintain on-going positive relationships (clients and internal teams) 
    • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required 
    • Motivate and influence internal and client resources to drive successful project execution and product implementation (at least 80% successful go live per schedule)
    • Identify and escalate project risks and develop mitigation plans
    • Identify and track open issues, along with solution plans (tickets, cases, etc.) during Implementation in order to successfully go live with clients
    • Collect and share lessons learned across the team
    • Work autonomously with minimal oversight to execute milestones and resolve risks and issues
    • Proactive problem-solver with minimal oversight required to determine risk/issue mitigation/resolution plans
    • Contribute to overall revenue by bringing projects/products live per plans
    • Contribute to client satisfaction and referenceable clients by delivering expectations as established at the beginning of the project
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

    • Combination of 5+ years of software implementation experience and/or 5+ years of revenue cycle experience in a hospital environment
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Strong organization skills and ability to work in a high-paced environment
    • Strong leadership skills
    • Strong oral and written communication and influencing skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Experience with Patient Estimates preferred
    • Knowledge of technical messages (HL7, 270/271, etc.…) preferred
    • Full understanding of healthcare revenue cycle required (both acute and ambulatory)
    • Basic project management skills (knowledge of project management process, tools and documentation)
    • Experience with Salesforce and Atlassian tools (Confluence/Jira) preferred
    • Up to 25% travel (in the future, as needed)
