In this position, you will play a major role in the operations of G4S as it relates to our high profile client's portfolio of accounts. As a Bank Captain, you will be the liaison between our client's Protective Services Management and G4S Management. You must understand all G4S policies and procedures, our client's contractual policies and procedures, and all appropriate state regulations. You are also primarily responsible for security services encompassing armed security personnel assigned to various banking centers. ** $250 after 90 days and another $250 after 180 days of successful employment. Role Responsibility: Specific Duties and Essential Functions * Conduct security patrols * Conduct safety inspections; observe and report * Alarm monitoring and response * Basic policy and procedure enforcement per client-specific post orders * Access control * Egress control * Report writing * Customer service The Ideal Candidate: Education, Licenses and Certifications Required * Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent * Must pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing * Must possess a current and valid Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Security Officer License issued by the State of California * Must possess a current and valid Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Security Firearms permit of .38 or .357 cal Type and Length of Specific Experience Required * Must have one (1) year prior law enforcement, military, or security-related experience * Must possess one or more of the following: * One (1) year prior supervisory experience * One (1) year of service demonstrating the ability to supervise other security personnel in a leadership role * Military service with an honorable discharge Skills Required * Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors * Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public * Effective oral and written communication skills * Active listening skills * Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively * Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately * Attention to detail Other * Must be at least 21 years old or the minimum age required by the State, if higher * Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States * Must have access to reliable transportation * Must be able to work a flexible schedule * Must not use illegal drugs.
