As a JCAF Specialist, you will be responsible for qualifying and performing as an adversary in the Joint Composite Adversary Force (JCAF). Additionally, the JCAF Specialist is responsible for implementing the JCAF program and other security compliance related duties as assigned by the Security Training Coordinator. This position requires a minimum 24 month commitment to the JCAF program. Role Responsibility: Specific Duties and Essential Functions * Participate in tactical training with the JCAF team * Provide oversight of triennial drills, annual drills, limited-scope drills, and table tops drills with the security force * Develop drill scenarios to support site required drills * Formulate revisions to training lesson plans and materials that support regulatory requirements and task needs to support excellent tactical performance * Provide coaching and mentoring to JCAF peers as needed * Maintain training records and documentation to meet regulations and ensure currency of information as directed * Maintain knowledge of regulatory and policy requirements in both security and training * Ensure a Safety Conscious Work Environment (SCWE) is present and positively reinforced * Develop mission narrative profiles during EFoF pre-visits in conjunction with the JCAF Director and/or Training Coordinator * Implement tactical program corrective actions, that may include changes to requirements, improvements/modifications or program enhancements, as directed * Maintain current knowledge and skills related to tactics, strategy, ordinance, weapons, counter-terrorism and tactics * Maintains appropriate training instructor certifications * Maintain all required qualifications for site access * Covers other additional needs of the security training department as directed The Ideal Candidate: Education, Licenses and Certifications Required * Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent * Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing Type and Length of Specific Experience Required * Must be currently employed by G4S working at a qualified site with unescorted access to the VA * Must be a current or former National CAF or site adversary team member, OR must be able to pass all physical and medical requirements of an adversary team member * At least 3 years of commercial nuclear power plant security officer experience Skills Required * Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office * Effective oral and written communication skills * Active listening skills * Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively * Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
