The Job Title: Lab Assistant, Weights & Measures * Work Hours: 7:00 am 3:30 pm or 4:45 pm - 10:45 pm Monday through Friday * Hourly Rate: $15.00 per hour * We offer medical, dental, vision and matching 401-K plan Responsibilities: Responsible for providing pertinent Four Cs content in the GIA report by operating gemological measuring devices and electronic scale to capture all data into GIA software system. Perform assigned production processes required to complete the production workflow of stones. * Weigh and clean gem items. * Measure gem items for measurement, fluorescence and color. * Operate other Weights & Measures gemological devices to capture all data in GIA software system. * Strong problem solving skills and the ability to manage problems effectively * Detail oriented with the ability to focus and complete tasks assigned in a timely manner.
