    CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is looking for a QA/QC Inspector Lead to staff and assist with a U.S. Army contracted position providing Equipment Maintenance, Logistics Sustainment Training, and Exercise Support at the 88th Readiness Division, Directorate of Logistics, Fort McCoy, WI.

     

    Specifically, CALIBRE will provide tiered support in the areas of Equipment Maintenance, Logistics Sustainment Training, and Exercise Support. Successful candidate will be responsible for following CALIBRE and client Quality Control policies and procedures, as well as developing required documentation and reports, and will perform the following:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain a Quality Control Plan for efforts performed under this contract.
    • Identify and evaluate quality problems, then initiate, recommend, and provide solutions.
    • Ensure timely and effective corrective actions are taken for any and all deficiencies identified.
    • Ensure full compliance with Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan requirements.
    • Ensure adherence with Technical Manuals appropriate to various items of equipment.

     

    Successful candidate will lead and manage the QA/QC aspects of the following contract activities:

    Tier 1: Draw Yard Equipment Maintenance and Logistics Support Tier 1 support includes the foundational capabilities of the 88th Readiness Division’s Equipment Maintenance, Logistics Sustainment Training, and Exercise Support platform. These are the basic capabilities required to make equipment available to Army Reserve units in Collective Training environments at Fort McCoy.

    Tier 1 duties and responsibilities include:

    • Conduct Technical Manual Level 10/20 Field Level Maintenance to include, but not limited to preventative maintenance checks and services on all stored ground support equipment to include, but not limited to light wheeled vehicles, tractor trailers, tracked vehicles, generators, Nuclear Biological Chemical Reconnaissance Vehicles, Joint Biological Point Detection Systems, Joint Light Tactical Vehicles, and military engineer equipment.
    • Conduct logistics and supply support operations to enable efficient and effective maintenance operations.
    • Conduct equipment storage operations which includes property accountability functions and exercising of equipment when not in use.

    Tier 2: Exercise Support Tiers 2 through 4 support build capabilities off of Tier 1 to fully support Army Reserve Collective Training and provide augmentation training to USAR Soldiers in low-density Supply and Maintenance Specialties.

    Tier 2 duties and responsibilities include:

    • Plan, manage, receive, store, and maintain, issue, and report equipment to meet client needs for exercise training. Equipment is both tactical and non-tactical, and includes automotive and construction equipment.

    Tier 3: Logistics Sustainment Training (LST) Provide technical and professional training to USAR Soldiers and civilian employees for equipment maintenance and maintenance support activities at Fort McCoy, WI.

    Tier 3 duties and responsibilities include:

    • Review, revise, and update existing curriculum in the 88th Readiness Division’s library to support Unit-owned equipment and civilian professional development.
    • Provide recommendations for new training curriculum in support of increased or changing mission requirements. Provide additional classes, courses of training, and instruction.
    • Develop course schedules and managing training slots.

    Tier 4: New Equipment Fielding Facility (NEFF) Support Tier 4 duties and responsibilities include:

    • Execute property accountability, inventory, and movement for new equipment received by USAR.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    At least 5 years of experience in Maintenance and Logistical Support Operations (preferably with QA/QC)

    Familiarity with the U.S. Army Reserve maintenance management principles and metrics

  • Qualifications
    • Identify underperforming reps and perform additional refresher training
    • Communicate with the quality monitoring team to receive feedback regarding representatives call quality
    • Communicate with each and every rep in a professional and respectful manner
    • Communicate with other departments to ensure that all retention/conservation procedures are followed/deployed
    • Communicate with other call center functions (Customer Service, QAC, GCCS) to ensure best practice policies are followed
    • Handle difficult or escalated calls for all reps
    • Research training methods
    • Monitor, audit and score representative’s calls (silent, live and side by side)
    • Complete monthly report cards and Performance Evaluations as well as handle disciplinary actions
