  • Responsibilities

    JOB SUMMARY

    **We have 2 shifts available 1st shift- 10am-7pm Monday- Friday & the 2nd shift is 8am-5pm Monday-Friday with 1 day per week at 10am-7pm **

    The primary duties of this position are to inspect, test, clean and label Industrial Surplus items at point of sale.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Verifying Part Numbers on All Units Processed

    · Inspection, Cleaning and Testing of all Units

    · Proper use of Shop Assets and Test Fixtures

    · Power and Diagnostic Testing of All Units

    · Programming

    · Support Quality Methods, Processes and Procedures

    · Support and Improve Quality of Final Product

    · Support Development of Capabilities

    · Performing Occasional Light Repair

    · Processing of Pre-evaluation Units to ‘RTS’ Ready to Sell condition

    · Proper Handling and Labeling on All Units

    · Capture Estimated Parts and Labor Cost for Repairs

    · Effective Time Management and Prioritization of Work

    · Proper use of IT systems

    · Provide your own Hand/Power tools

    · Willingness to work on products outside of your department to support customer backlog

    May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned.


    QA DRIVES TECHNICIAN LEVEL METRICS

    Performance Metrics are driven by the level chart.

    · Level 1 = $16.8K Monthly, $100 hourly Minimum

    · Level 2 = $33.6K Monthly, $200 hourly Minimum

    · Level 3 = $50.4K Monthly, $300 hourly Minimum

    · Level 4 = $67.2K Monthly, $400 hourly Minimum

    · Level 5 = $84.0K Monthly, $500 hourly Minimum

    · Level 6 = $100.8K Monthly, $600 hourly Minimum

    · Level 7 = $117.6K Monthly, $700 hourly Minimum

    • Periodic Aptitude Testing both written and Technical
    • Producing at least 40 jobs per month


    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Not applicable. This position has no direct reports.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Ability to troubleshoot to and solder components is required. Use of hand and power tools.

    **EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE **

    · High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

    • One to Three years Technical School Diploma or experience preferred
    • Technical or Industrial product knowledge a plus

    **PHYSICAL DEMANDS **

    · Occasional sitting, reaching/working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling

    · Frequent walking

    · Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion

    · Occasional sitting, reaching/working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling

    · Lifting requirements include frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds

    BONUS/COMMISSION PLAN __

    Eligible for commission after successful completion of introductory 90 days
