You can G.R.O.W. with Us by becoming our Human Resources Retirement Benefits Analyst THE ROLE Under general direction, supports HR and benefit plans and programs, HR Systems administration, and compliance programs. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, AND ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Administers plans or programs including enrollment, tracking, and reporting. Oversee and assists with multiple retirement (Defined Benefit Pension, 401K and Employee Stock Ownership Plans) and/or health & wellness plans, including medical, wellness, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. May answer and respond to participant questions and requests via telephone and email communication. Researches and provides information to participants via verbal or written format in a timely manner. Processes payments and deposits to/from pension trust and maintains pension trust expense spreadsheet. Reconciles retirement plan trust payments; runs weekly eligibility files for third party administrators and is responsible for answering inquiries from third party administrators regarding data integrity including root cause analysis. Manages governmental reporting relating to retirement and/or benefits. Primary HR liaison with benefit plan auditors and Company auditors, including coordinating data requests, completing reconciliations, and answering questions regarding administration of plans. Analyzes errors in HR systems, identifies trends, and makes recommendations. Follows-up as necessary with team members. Create and maintain written documentation in relation to HRIS systems, continually evaluate, establish, make recommendations, and implement initiatives to streamline and automate HRIS processes. Create, analyze, and compile statistics or metrics and makes recommendations. Manages billing process which includes reviewing reports, submitting payment requests, and reviewing and reconciling data to determine if credits are necessary. Works with IT Analyst to set up and maintain vendor feeds, identify and resolve HR system issues. May review, update, and/or coordinate the changes of summary plan descriptions and benefit description booklets. Collaborates with Payroll, as needed to troubleshoot HR, retirement, and/or benefits related issues. Authors reports and queries, and when needed assists other team members with reports. May assist with reviewing, updating, and/or coordinating the update and distribution of summary plan descriptions and benefit description booklets. May assist with the development and implementation of benefit communication materials, including legally required notices and employee presentations. May assist in RFP processes to include development of specifications, summaries, experience data and analysis of responses. Coordinates implementation process for new vendors and programs. May analyze employee utilization of programs and develop specific recommendations for review by management. May test modifications necessary to support benefits, retirement and other HR system changes and/or updates and conduct user acceptance testing. Assists in the development of user procedures for benefits modules and other HR systems as assigned. Maintains HR benefits documentation, and appropriate links, on HR portal to ensure participants receive the correct information. May design, organize and conduct employee benefit related meetings or fairs. Resolves non-routine problems and evaluates and assesses new approaches to current processes and issues. Works on Human Resources and Benefits-related projects in conjunction with other team members. QUALIFICATIONS Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is: Education and Experience Bachelor's degree required. Three to five years related experience in benefit and/or retirement administration. HRIS System and query report (e.g., Insight) experience. CEBS or GBA certification preferred. Valid drivers license. Knowledge of: Technical and professional principles, practices, laws, applications and programs in position related area (e.g., JD Edwards, Oracle Fusion, benefits operations, and benefit laws such as ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, PPACA). Current developments and trends in areas of expertise including strong analytical math skills to determine benefits, payments, and perform statistical analyses of benefit plans. Computer programs, including Microsoft Office suite of applications and advanced Excel skills.
