The Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the coordination of recruiting functions, which will take up 85% of their time. This includes coordinating phone screens, scheduling on-site job interviews, posting job descriptions, candidate debriefs/preps, and communicating internally to ensure a smooth first day for new employees. Additionally, 50% of the coordinator's time will be spent streamlining processes that include on-site set-up and communication, training schedules, and general candidate/new hire questions. The remaining 5% will cover a variety of people-related functions that require agile problem-solving and a "can do" mentality.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling phone interviews, candidate preps & debriefs, and scheduling on-site interviews for recruiters as needed.
Communicating with candidates about their application status, scheduling interviews, and providing feedback from interviews.
Ensuring that appropriate feedback has been gathered at all stages of the hiring process.
Coordinating on-site interviews and facilitating debriefs with the hiring team when concluded.
Scheduling candidate and new hire travel as needed.
Pushing candidates through the hiring process, including working with them to complete all paperwork before day 1, ensuring that their background and reference checks are complete, and pushing them through various systems for compliance reasons.
Assisting new hires who are relocating to any of our client sites with getting settled and being a "buddy" who can answer questions about getting around, finding housing, etc.
Working with the helpdesk to solve issues for new hires, constantly streamlining processes to ensure a great candidate experience from the first contact to rejection and/or hire.
Running point for onboarding Days 1-5 for new employees and working with recruiters to make these important first days effective.
Keeping track of headcount across the organization and running reports as needed.
Requirements:
1-2 years of coordinating recruiting processes in a fast-paced environment preferred but not necessary.
Impeccable organizational skills that can be used across a multitude of systems to ensure candidates do not get lost in the process.
Fanatical attention to detail and a drive to get things done right.
Tons of patience and grace under fire.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Products.
Communication skills mean maximizing contact with just the information people need to make things seem effortless.
Self-starter.
A sense of humor and an easy-going personality is a must!
