We offer a full range of services- landscape design, construction, and maintenance. The Human Resources Generalist will possess a wide variety of knowledge. This person will be the main point of contact for all HR related issues, serving to support and enhance business unit goals. Their responsibilities will include completing paperwork for new hire applicants, maintaining employee files, H2B compliance, and supporting recruiting needs. Duties & Responsibilities: * Perform reference checks, background checks and in-house and third party drug screening * Coordinate new hire process * Ensure timely completion of on-boarding * Aid in initial orientation * Enroll and maintain employee changes to company benefits * Maintain employee files and records * Complete employee termination paperwork and exit interviews * Serve as main liaison for workers on the H2B program * Complete and submit all necessary documentation required by law * Work in conjunction with Safety and Training Coordinators to support and enhance business unit goals * Maintain job descriptions and organizational matrix * Aid in employee review process and personal development plans * Assistance in research, creation, and updates to company policies * Mediation of employee issues * Work with CSO to strategically market company values * Provide backup for front desk receptionist as needed * Coordinate company events * Coordinate job postings across multiple job boards, review resumes to evaluate qualifications and eligibility of applicants, screen candidates through telephone interviews, present qualified candidates to hiring managers. * Ensure employment postings are widely distributed and recruited according to brand and cultural values * Maintain file of applicants to serve as a pool of potential employees * Manage job openings for internal and external candidates * Facilitation of internship program * Attending industry specific recruiting events * Other functions as assigned Requirements: * Government reporting and compliance with * I-9 * E-Verify * W4 * H2B * Excellent presentation, organization & written skills * Must be able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines * Possess strong analytical skills * Must maintain confidentiality * Keep up-to-date with current and emerging trends * Excellent computer skills Desired qualities to include: * Bilingual in English and Spanish * Bachelors degree in business administration, human resources, or relevant experience * Thorough working knowledge of labor laws * A friendly demeanor and the ability to work as a team with others * Knowledge of the H2B Program Physical Demand & Work Environment * Office environment with occasional field exposure * Occasionally lift/move up to 50lbs Job Summary: * Location: Colorado Springs * Reports To: Controller, CFO * Supervises: NA * Experience: 1-5 years of progressive experience * Career Level: Non-manager * Salary: DOE * Benefits: * Health insurance as per ACA guidelines * Life/Accidental death insurance * Dental/Vision insurance * Paid time off * Profit sharing * 401K Investment plan Job Type: Full-time Salary: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 /year Experience: * Human Resources: 1 year 1 day ago - save job
