Benefits Advisory and Compliance Analyst The Benefits Advisory and Compliance Service (BAC) within Willis Towers Watson's Retirement line of business provides governance, operational, compliance, vendor and defined contribution consulting services for the full array of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, as well as health and welfare plans. As such, we help clients fulfil their fiduciary obligations and achieve plan effectiveness. Employment-based non-immigrant visa sponsorship and/or assistance is not offered for this specific job opportunity. **The Role ** As an Analyst within the QDRO/QMCSO/POA Group of BAC, you will work with consultants and senior consultants in administering Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROs), Qualified Medical Child Support Orders (QMCSOs) and Power of Attorney (POA) documents for Fortune 1000 and other non-profit organizations. As a key team member responsible for work product, you will be working directly on client projects in support of broad client engagements. As a BAC analyst you will contribute as part of a team to the entire range of QDRO/QMCSO/POA outsourcing services and projects. You will work with mid and senior consultants as well as interface with clients to answer questions, resolve issues and complete projects. You will have the opportunity to: * Significantly enhance your knowledge of all aspects of retirement plan compliance, tax reporting, and operations * Employ the most cutting edge tools and resources and work with some of the worlds experts in retirement plan design and management * Review and analyze clients QDRO, QMSCO and POA needs * Administer QDRO/QMCSO/POA services * Interact with plan participants and their representatives to address issues and questions in dedicated QDRO/QMCSO/POA Call Center * Follow firm and line of business processes, protocols and quality standards in the development and deployment of solutions * Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams * Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels * Deliver work in accordance to project deadlines * Deliver on projects to meet or exceed client expectations * Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes The Requirements: * 1+ years of experience in employee benefits, retirement, or consulting with a focus on plan administration, or recordkeeping or call center experience is highly desirable. Prior experience in professional services firm or legal environment preferred, but not required. * General knowledge of defined contribution (401(k)) plans and/or defined benefit plans is preferred, but not required. * General knowledge of IRC, ERISA and other relevant laws and regulations affecting employee benefit plans is preferred, but not required. * Well organized and detail oriented * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to ask the right questions and seek help where appropriate * Natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels * Respond to all communications effectively and in a timely manner * Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues; strong client service orientation * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). * Ability to work both independently and on client teams who enjoys a fast-paced environment * Sense of accountability; owning ones work and taking pride in it * Proven experience successfully working on multiple projects and producing quality deliverables on time * Associates degree preferred but will consider candidates with relevant work experience in lieu of the degree.
