We are looking for people passionate about market research to join the BASES Demand Innovation team in January 2019. We want to know why you're excited about a career in market research! Job Purpose
- To execute marketing research studies by contributing to consumer survey content in addition to compiling, analyzing, and interpreting marketing research data, writing client reports, and constructing presentations
- Generate polished diagnostic analyses/reports, summarizing BASES insights and recommendations in a concise, client-friendly manner
- Supports the Client Development team in driving revenue by delivering excellent project work that results in repeat business
Responsibilities
- Execute against projects across a variety of clients, meeting agreed upon milestones
- Accountable for high quality client deliverables in partnership with the Client Service team
- Delivers work without data errors and inconsistencies
- Partner with forecast analysts to provide cohesive insights and recommendations to our clients
- Develop mastery of BASES products and services
- Develops mastery of proprietary tools and metrics within first 6 months of the job
- Responsible for supporting Client Service team on value add and meta-analysis
- Contribute to consumer survey content in partnership with Client Service and operations teams
- Summarizes data for the production of tables, charts, and graphs
- Develops a strong understanding of successful innovation within the first 6 months of the job (Nielsen BASES Factors for Success, Demand Driven Innovation Theory) and apply this understanding to client deliverables
- Demonstrates basic understanding of what drives in-market sales and forecasting theory
- Analyzes study results to draft emails, reports, and presentations
- Participate in client discussions/presentation and work through implications, and recommendations based on the data
- Support special projects and thought leadership initiatives
- Handles project related client correspondence as needed
- Supports the development of client training related to consumer demand principles
