This program is designed to enable students that come from underrepresented backgrounds in the technology industry. Those who self-identify as Black, Hispanic/Latinx and Native American are especially encouraged to apply.
IBM Accelerate is an unpaid, virtual learning experience that offers high potential undergraduate students the opportunity to become equipped with the knowledge and career readiness they need for future consideration for opportunities within the technology industry.
You will be aligned to one of the six core tracks based on your major, skills and interests. The application will ask you to rank your top two track preferences, so please familiarize yourself with each track prior to applying.
If you are accepted into the program, you are committing to attend the Accelerate sessions for three hours per week: Mondays 7-8 PM ET and Wednesdays 6-8 PM ET between June 6th – August 1st, 2022. Attendance is tracked and required to receive an IBM badge at the end of the program.
Participants who complete the program may be considered for IBM internship opportunities. Please note, IBM does not provide visa sponsorship for internship positions now or in the future. Participation does not imply current employment nor guarantee future employment with IBM.
