What you’ll be doing...
The Lead Specialist has overall responsibility of managing and coordinating all service delivery install activities through circuit activation for VPS Wholesale Customers.
Responsibilities include:
Proactively pull orders for review.
Perform daily order follow ups.
Spearhead project management for large complex projects when needed.
Coordinate all service installation activities (site survey, equipment delivery/installs, circuit activation etc.) with and on behalf of the customer.
Monitor order progress and escalate as appropriate to internal teams.
Coordinate and host meetings with customers, sales team, and internal groups (e.g. Service Delivery, Engineering, Construction, etc.)
Act as main point of contact throughout order lifecycle that will serve as the liaison for providing or verifying critical order information.
Clarify provisioning requirement questions with customer.
Provide the customer and account teams with frequent updates and status reports (both written and verbal as required).
Build content for client service reviews (as needed).
Drive an exceptional customer experience along with the success of key performance metrics: CDD and Interval.
Build strong relationships with downstream partners ensuring cohesive cross functional collaboration.
Escalate as required to ensure customer requirements and due dates are met.
Proactively notify management of any order that may turn into an escalation.
Identify process gaps and possible solutions.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
Experience with and an understanding of the delivery process of fiber to the cell for products including but not limited to; TLS, Dark Fiber, iEN and WAVE.
Experience within a Customer Service environment.
Computer/systems experience (including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite).
Project management experience.
Telecom industry experience.
Even better if you have:
Black Belt or Green Belt certification.
Understanding of iEN and Dark Fiber services and associated delivery management systems.
Knowledge with Wholesale Products: Ethernet, EVPL, IDE, and Wave/OWS, TLS, VZON, FTTC.
Knowledge with the following systems: Accord, CANVAS (UUI), BAAIS, Provisioning Controller, EZ Status, Install Scheduler, Capacity Creation Request (CCR), IVAPP, Optix Dispatch & CXM, Vbuild

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $85,000.00 and $157,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
