What you’ll be doing…
As an Associate Director you will be leading a team of Client Executives responsible for the multifamily dwelling unit (MDU) and MTU multi-tenant marketplace in current and planned Select Home/ Business markets. You will be creating the strategic plan for serving properties with Verizon Select Home services in targeted areas through a program to identify specific property owners, build relationships with them and deliver strong value propositions that results in gaining access to deploy Verizon networks.
Staffing and building a team that can effectively partner with MDU property owners and managers in driving Verizon Select Home subscribership in their communities.
Partnering with the Verizon Enhanced Communities (VEC) organization to better understand which properties are enabled with Verizon Select Home to allow you to begin early marketing efforts.
Establishing and nurturing cross-functional partnerships with key support organizations, including marketing, GN&T, commercialization and sales channels in order to facilitate program goals.
Overseeing and supporting your team’s field sales activity and negotiation of key deals.
Leading your team to achieve all sales objectives and KPIs.
Working with partners across the VEC organization to keep your team informed and armed with the resources they need to drive performance.
Traveling frequently to each of your assigned Select Home markets to coach and develop your team.
This role is currently STI-based but will move to a sales compensation structure.
What we’re looking for…
We are looking for you to possess a strong record of leading business development and field sales professionals. A strong business acumen on MDU and wireless/broadband technology is important for this role. Additionally, you will need experience staffing, developing, and leading a team in a high-pressure environment.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Experience leading a team.
5GH, Fios, and mobile product knowledge.
Willingness to travel up to approximately 75% of the time.
Valid driver’s license.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
A degree (Business, Economics or Engineering preferred).
Worked in a sales compensation environment.
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in sales or marketing.
Experience in the multi-family segment or related industries.
Achieving sales and customer satisfaction goals experience.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $82,000.00 and $152,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is a commission based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
