What will you do?

• You’ll be part of our Avaya Academy Program, an award-winning graduate training program for talent, aspiring to move into Product Management roles. For the first part of the program, you’ll learn about the latest technology advancements and an understanding of the business. During the second part of your academy year, you’ll further develop your skills through an On-the-Job Experience in the wider R&D organization.

What will you work on?

• Assist with the development of specific marketing plans and activities for a specific product(s) or product line(s) to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena
• Assist with the development of business plans and product positioning in the marketplace
• Monitor competitive activity and evaluate customer needs
• Interface with engineering, manufacturing, and sales to assist in the development of new products or enhance existing product(s) or product line(s)
• Provide support to customer and account teams to understand customer requirements
• Present information clearly and in an appropriate style that makes technical information clear

• Bachelor‘s or Master‘s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Informatics, Data Science or similar
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential
• Working in a fast paced geographically dispersed organization, ability to collaborate with remote teams is a must
• Some knowledge of assigned product(s), company functions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures is a plus
• 0-3 years communications, marketing, statistics and or economics experience – co-op placements will be considered as part of the years of experience
