41382BR Physician Track Consultant Professional Job Description The
Physician Track Consultant is responsible for driving the client through
design of clinical and business process, solution and technology
workflow, and successful adoption that will lead to achieved value.
Through the use of Cerners implementation approach and methodology, you
will assist in change management, help identify opportunities for
improvement, and is accountable for achieving the projects targeted
outcomes. You will provide expert industry knowledge in complex client
environments; contribute in a leadership capacity to advance the
solution and its effectiveness; consult with clients and project teams
to recognize and document benefits; provide gap analysis and process
redesign recommendations, support client and project teams; develop
associate domain expertise (clinical, revenue and operational) and
consulting skills; consults with client to develop and apply appropriate
policies and procedures. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: *
Bachelor's degree in Business, HealthCare, General Studies or equivalent
relevant work experience * At least 3 years of software implementation
work experience * At least 1 year Cerner Millennium PowerChart (CPOE
and/or Dynamic Documentation) workflow, design and build experience
within an Ambulatory/Physician or Acute space Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of health care information technology (HCIT)
consulting and/or support experience Expectations: * Willing to travel
up to 100% as needed * Willing to work additional or irregular hours as
needed and allowed by local regulations * Must reside near a major
international airport or willing to relocate to Kansas City, MO
