    What you’ll be doing...

    Move beyond compiling data and help provide value added ideas to improve execution of capital markets tracking and reporting processes. Drive process improvement by initiating, leading, and executing projects that align with Verizon and Treasury department objectives, including collaboration with key stakeholders both within an outside the company.

    • Support Senior Management in tracking of debt and capital markets spending trends using Qlik visualization tool. Track partner firms capabilities to help senior management decide which firms to use on specific transactions.

    • Support relationship management with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion firms including maintaining partnership and communications with the firms and gathering relevant data for metrics included in Verizon's annual ESG Report.

    • Lead executive briefing memo creation to Management and C Suit executives on relationship banks and DEI Firms. Will include partnering with Treasury and VBG teams to provide insights into banking partners.

    • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual Treasury budget/actuals financial statements, including variance analysis.

    • Prepare and develop monthly and quarterly reporting including debt & cash flow reports in coordination with Corporate FP&A.

    • Prepare and review calendar of meeting dates for Finance committee, dividend and other Treasury activities.

    • Lead the coordination of quarterly Treasury All-Hands meetings, Operational Reviews with executives and other overall Treasury presentations, as required.

    • Maintain and enhance procedural documentation, and proactively identify process improvements, e.g., leveraging automation, digital finance initiatives, or other leading-edge industry-wide technologies.

    • Partner cross-functionally, help re-imagine treasury design and foster collaboration with dependent stakeholders. Provide clear and timely responses to stakeholder inquiries, internal and external auditor requests, and SOX compliance matters.

    What we’re looking for...

    You’ll need to have:

    • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience in Accounting, Finance or Economics.

    • Experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office Suite to prepare financial spreadsheets.

    • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

    Even better if you have one or more of the following:

    • Possess good project management abilities, including organizational, planning, and time management skills.

    • Have good communication, stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Advanced proficiency in Google suite.

    • Ability to have an attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work within specified timelines.

    • Previous experience with Qlik database management and dashboard creation.

    In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
