The Direct Response Marketing Activation Manager is responsible for the creative strategy, design development, and final asset delivery for direct-to-customer communications.
Interfacing and collaborating with the business unit to align on business strategies that drive specific line-of-business KPIs and messaging/creative consistency across multiple customer touch points and tactics.
Building creative with an external agency that is thoughtfully integrated with other channels and aligns to overall direct response best practices.
Leading and executing the 360-process for all channel-specific campaign elements – email, direct mail, mobile push notifications, and EMS/RCS – ensuring that work is done on time, within budget, and aligns to the approved strategy.
Leading end-to-end creative process from creative brief, through design development, to final delivery of proofed assets to the business unit.
Presenting creative at various levels - all the way up to SVP - with the ability to sell-in and defend creative work
Partnering with external agency on schedules, scope, and ensuring creative concepts elevate the customer experience, reviewing creative and providing constructive, actionable feedback
Collaborating with multiple stakeholders across the business unit and the broader Marketing Activation team to deliver campaigns that fulfill the needs of the business, brand, and consumer.
Understanding specific customer segments and channel test strategies, as well as analyzing campaign results, to make recommendations for optimizing future creative executions
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Knowledge of integrated marketing processes and principles.
Knowledge of marketing best practices; tailoring creative and messaging to unique customer segments
Strong writing, communication, and collaboration skills to work closely with all internal and external partners of all disciplines
Creative problem-solving skills; can analyze information from various sources and extract key messages/needs/next steps.
Previous experience in MarCom, CRM, Agency Management, Digital Marketing.
Experience in all things Direct Response; knowledge of tactics, segmentation, creative execution, and creative testing.
Willingness to take smart risks, defend work and make strategic decisions.
Willingness to work in a flexible, dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Commitment to upholding the Verizon Brand, culture, and credo.
Act as an ambassador for the marketing department objectives and point of view on the company’s brand and its visual and verbal brand identity.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $108,000.00 and $201,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
