The Verizon Global Services team is seeking the best talent to work in the areas of Conversational and Agentic AI. We build the best of class service and product to delight our internal and external customers.

The developer at this position is responsible for performing programming and/or analysis duties and producing specific deliverables relating to various phases of the systems life cycle. The incumbent works independently, and requires some supervision, direction on certain tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Works as a team member on small to intermediate projects of average to high complexity under the direction and supervision of senior applications staff and management.

• Collects client requirements, performs analysis, writes program specifications and develops designs for small or medium size projects.

• Performs some technical evaluation of products.

• Responsible for producing high quality deliverables in a timely fashion.

• Responsible for analyzing problems, developing solutions.

• Ensures systems implementations occur in accordance with established Change Control procedures.

• Proactively communicates status reports to team leads and escalates issues to managers when necessary.

• Successfully completes all relevant technical and professional training programs in accordance with Performance Agreement goals and objectives.

• Able to perform Level 2 application support and/or customer support as needed and requested by Call Center

You'll need to have:

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related major with an expected completion date between December 2024 and June 2025.

• Knowledge of information systems concepts.

• Knowledge of applicable methodologies, tools, standards, and procedures.

• Knowledge of the foundational computing concepts on algorithms, operating systems, multithreading,a nd networking.

• Authorization to work in the US without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to understand business requirements and take it to code implementation.

• Strong analytical, debugging skills.

• Familiarity with LLM, GenAI, Agentic concepts and implementation.

• Solid understanding of AWS Infrastructure and env.

• Excellent collaboration skills with the demonstrated ability to work across organizations and with cross-functional teams.

• Good data analytical skills such as querying db tables to identify insights and trending.
