    What you’ll be doing…

You’ll be managing our NYC C-Suite office to ensure all runs smoothly and efficiently for our executive leadership team, board members and our guests. This will involve greeting guests, coordinating logistics and essentially taking care of the day-to-day office management.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Serving as the first point of contact to welcome all visiting senior executives, board members and guests and coordinate any pre-registration with building security as needed.

    • Managing the front-of-house, greeting visitors, answering calls, and handling administrative tasks with a high level of professionalism and discretion, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for executives and guests.

    • Maintaining office security by following safety protocols for the restricted area.

    • Liaising/Partnering with various teams across the business, including but not limited to Real Estate, HR, Corporate Security, Catering, Maintenance, Mail Services, as well as the Executive Assistant and the Community manager teams to ensure all needs in the C-Suite office are being met.

    • Managing meeting room requests and conference room schedules for the Executive area, ensuring all meeting rooms are prepped for each executive meeting, including catering requests.

    • Providing on-site administrative support to any of the executives or guests as required

    • Handling customer escalation requests sent to the VLC members at the NY office, scan and send to the Executive Relations Team.

    • Coordinating with the Real Estate team on any work requests (i.e., repairs, renovations upgrades) for the 8th floor executive area.

    • Assisting with ad hoc requests or other administrative/office management type duties as needed (ie, maintain inventory for office supplies and kitchen pantry items, mail distribution, etc).

    What we’re looking for...

You’re motivated by being an integral part of the team, doing your part to enable others to do their job well. You enjoy a fast-paced environment and juggling a number of priorities at once. You’re phenomenal at developing your own process that keeps you organized and on schedule, while ensuring those you support stay prepared and informed. You are ready to lend a hand to others—and happy to do what it takes to support the team.

    You’ll need to have:

    • A Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.

    • Experience providing administrative support to senior executives.

    • Experience partnering with internal and external stakeholders.

    • Ability to work 5 days a week in our NYC office.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

    • A degree.

    • Experience juggling multiple priorities in a fast paced, highly sensitive/secure environment.

    • Experience supporting a team for their administrative needs.

    • Excellent organizational skills.

    • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of work.

    • Superior communication skills, verbal and written.

    • Strong relationship building/interpersonal skills.

If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.
