You will work closely with functional HR teams and IT to manage projects for internal customers matching the best prototyping and configuration, through product testing and implementation for technology projects. You’ll be configuring Workday Compensation to provide the solutions that enable the business to move forward and deliver results. In addition, you will manage projects in custom AWS cloud solutions and PeopleSoft Compensation systems covering (Union, Management, Executive, and sales). You will lead large-scale projects from start to finish.
Leading large-scale enterprise-wide projects through the entire lifecycle hands-on. Lead the entire process from assessing business needs through designing system solutions, configuration, testing, and deployment in Workday, PeopleSoft, and custom applications.
Assessing the business opportunities and solving challenges through configuration and automation.
Defining requirements for system integrations, Workday extend, or custom application solutions by partnering with technology teams.
Creating and managing project plans and status reporting to produce results and meet deadlines.
Reviewing documented requirements with IT management and development staff to ensure a complete understanding of the business goals.
Managing the planning and testing of products/system enhancements, troubleshooting production issues, and retesting fixes.
Providing leadership updates through regular communication and presentations.
Collaborating with IT, Business, and HRIS teams to identify defects and enhancements, analyze impacts of proposed changes, propose alternative solutions, discover synergies, and drive process improvements.

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant HR experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Workday Compensation, Business Process, and/or Advanced Compensation Configuration experience.
Two or more years of Workday Configuration experience.
Experience in project management, human resources processes, systems, policies, and data.
Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
Experience with PeopleSoft and SQL
Workday Pro Certification
Experience designing system requirements.
Experience building testing plans and scenarios.
Experience resolving technical issues with minimal direction.
Experience with agile methodology including Sprint planning and leading scrum calls.
Strong partnership skills that build results-oriented relationships with customers.
Experience with ticket tracking systems (preferably JIRA).
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
The ability to work independently with limited direction.
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $105,000.00 and $194,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
