This internship position – which is part of the Verizon Campus Program – will give you a chance to channel your drive and enthusiasm while learning from the best minds in the industry. You’ll be doing hands-on projects to support employee engagement and employee relations through the course of this 10-week experience. You will take part in meaningful work and real-life projects within the Human Resources Organization that will help you grow both professionally and personally throughout the program, and could be the pathway to future development program opportunities.
As a Human Resources Intern, you may have the opportunity to:
Leverage your critical thinking, presentation, leadership, organizational and analytical skills.
Focus on developing your business and technical skills with an assignment in the HR Business Partner organization where you will build connections with HR Centers of Excellence to support our employees.
Experience opportunities to use your skills in impactful projects.
Network with other interns, professionals and business leaders.
Constantly be challenged to generate smart solutions to business problems.
You must be currently enrolled in a degree program and be in good academic standing to be considered.
In this hybrid internship, you’ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager. This hybrid internship will be based out of Basking Ridge, NJ. If relocation is required, relocation assistance may be available.

You’ll need to have:
Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Human Resources, Labor Relations or a related major with an expected completion date between December 2025 and June 2026.
Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
Willingness to work in Basking Ridge, NJ.
Even better if you have:
Previous internship in human resources and/or demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in human resources.
Coursework or previous internship experience in the following: data analytics, organizational design, human resources management, leadership and change management.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills with an ability to understand multiple perspectives and customer needs.
Demonstrated organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.
Demonstrated verbal, written, communication and presentation skills.
Experience working with others to resolve difficult conflicts.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and leadership skills.
