THE ROLE The MANAGER SALES COMPENSATION will have responsibility for process, process flow and administration per the published guidelines, for general inquiries, dispute tickets and requested audits from Enterprise Sales and Customer Success teams around commission payment of target sales incentive (TSI). This would include not only review of existing process for improvement and determining best practices but managing a team of analysts responsible for all aspects related to general inquiries and dispute management tickets from initial input and assignment to resolution. This team will also monitor and respond to inquiries thru the recommended email box. The Manager will interface with the HR Comp Teams as well as Sales, Sales Support, Sales Operations, Finance and Legal. THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Create and/or review and improve existing administration and best practices of not only dispute resolution but also process around hand-off and coordination between teams internal and external to comp admin
    • Responsible for managing a team of analysts driving analysis and investigation around general compensation questions, dispute management and exception processing.
    • Responsible for process and best practice around presentation of escalation disputes to Sales, Sales Support, Human Resource and Finance Leadership where appropriate
    • Work with Quota Management Teams to understand and assist with reconciliation of compensation concerns, disputes and escalations and appropriate communication on resolution
    • Responsible for managing to appropriate SLA's around inquiry and dispute timing
    • Drive reporting and other team initiatives around disputes, audits and inquires
    • Collaborate with contacts in human resources, operations, sales, finance and legal
    • Guide team in analysis, problem solving and resolution meeting published guidelines
    • Critical in system best practices related to inquiries and dispute management

    WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A CANDIDATE

    • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; or 5 years of experience in Sales Compensation or Sales Operations for a telecommunications company
    • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Strong ability to use critical thinking skills to analyze and solve problems
    • Be business professional and have strong communication skills and experience interacting with all levels within a sales organization or human resources
    • Ability to handle multiple projects at one time and be very detailed-oriented
    • Must be able to lead or facilitate meetings, state objectives, keep members on tasks, focus on next steps, and determine action plans
