    What you’ll be doing...

    As a Network Assurance Engineer working the overnight shift of 11 p.m. - 7 a.m. or 12 a.m. - 8 a.m., you will be responsible for an expert level knowledge in trouble tickets, outage communications, and process issues for internal and external customers. As a part of a highly visible team, you are accountable for ensuring high network availability and attainment of service levels. The team operates in a round the clock environment to provide continuous management and support of the wireless network.

    In this role you will be...

    • Applying a broad awareness of surveillance techniques to monitor a variety of data types across global networks and report out on customer impact.

    • Managing and communicating network outages in a timely and effective manner to external teams by communicating technical details and status to customer service centers, technical support organizations, vendors, and executive management teams during network events and major outages.

    • Applying in-depth technical knowledge to help resolve complex issues.

    • Actively building relationships with Field Engineers and Management.

    • Partnering with automation teams to analyze current processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.

    • Identifying system constraints and limitations, recommend solutions to enhance overall performance for engineers via automation.

    What we’re looking for...

    You’ll need to have...

    • Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience.

    • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

    • Three or more years of experience in a network operations engineering role

    • Must have, or be eligible to qualify for, a DoD clearance at the Top Secret level as well as a DoD Public Trust and a USPS Public Trust

    • Must be able to work the overnight shift of 11p.m. - 7a.m. or 12a.m. - 8a.m.

    Even better if you also have ...

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

    • Experience in one or more of the following fields: telecommunications, network operations, and/or maintenance.

    • Knowledge of LTE networks and 1X to 5G technologies.

    • CCNA or CCNP

    • Knowledge of LAN and WAN technologies

    • Knowledge of all major cellular switching, sub-systems, data networks, and power systems.

    • Working knowledge of basic telephony and network architecture.

    • Working knowledge of switching fundamentals.

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adjust to priority changes.
