This Northeastern University Co-op position, which is part of the Verizon Campus Program, will allow you to channel your drive and enthusiasm as part of a 6-month rotation from July 21, 2025 to December 12, 2025 working a full-time schedule. You’ll be front and center, hands-on, and contributing your creative energy to high-impact projects from the moment you arrive.

As a Co-op with the Outside Plant team, some of the projects you may work on could enhance your skills in one or more of the following areas:
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to formulate data-driven solutions.
Designing, developing, and optimizing SQL queries.
Collecting, cleaning, and pre-processing data from various sources to prepare for analysis.
Performing data analysis and profiling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within datasets.
Experience with Alteryx and Google Cloud Platforms (GCP) to develop workflows and analytic models.
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective Tableau solutions.
Designing and developing interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to visualize key metrics and trends.
Performing data analysis and validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of visualizations.
Creating maps, dashboards, and reports to visualize spatial information.
You must be currently enrolled in a qualifying Northeastern University bachelor’s degree program and be in good academic standing to be considered.
This Co-op position will be home-based.

You’ll need to have:
Ability to participate in our 6-month co-op that takes place from July 21, 2025 to December 12, 2025 working a full-time schedule.
Current enrollment in a Northeastern University Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Wireless Technologies, High-Frequency Design, Artificial Intelligence, or a related major with an expected completion date between December 2025 and June 2026.
Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
Willingness to travel and work in an assigned Verizon office.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Previous Internship or Co-op experience.
Experience in designing, developing, and optimizing SQL queries.
Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Knowledge of GIS analytics (e.g. ArcGIS software).
Demonstrated independent thinking, relationship management, and attention to detail.
Demonstrated strong analytical, communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-moving, team environment.
