Qualifications
3+ years experience in payroll functions, as well as working knowledge of federal, state, and local labor legislation and tax regulations. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Additional experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Experience with outsourced payroll vendor, ADP Workforce Now. Working knowledge of cost accounting. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and attention to detail. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel. Able to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. Able to work in a changing environment and adapt easily; work flexibly, effectively and willingly as part of a team. Able to demonstrate strong organizational skills, interpersonal, time-management and analytical skills. Must be detail-oriented and able to comply with policies and procedures in order to minimize errors. Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines.
The projected compensation range for this position is $55,000-$72,000. There are multiple factors that can impact a final salary, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (if remote or different from the stated location for this position), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
