    What you’ll be doing...

    As a Principal Solutions Architect (SA), you will be an integral part of a talented team collaborating with our internal and external clients’ on their Digital, Customer Experience (CX/DX) transformation. You play a meaningful role in building long-term business relationships across designated enterprise accounts. We’re a leader in transforming enterprises, including 97% of the Fortune 1000. This is a high-impact role that works closely with the Sales teams and customers to identify and qualify opportunities and design solutions to address customer business challenges.

    You will seek to build deep, consultative technical relationships with your customers, effectively becoming a trusted adviser. An SA is ideally positioned to understand the customer's high-level objectives and match these to Verizon solutions in order to satisfy business and technical requirements.

    • Being an integral part of a team to identify and qualify business opportunities and develop the strategy to resolve technical matters.

    • Recommending enterprise grade Contact Center strategies, architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement an effective and efficient solution, using industry best practices.

    • Owning the technical relationship with Verizon customers, including managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources.

    • Working directly with customers to create and design solutions and use cases that leverage Verizon product integrations that generate business value.

    • Articulating the Verizon vision on technologies and solutions towards the Client; positions Verizon as a thought leader on key technological developments.

    • Leading prioritization of Customer solution / technical requirements and champion resolution of solution / product gaps internally (also towards Product Groups).

    • Developing individual skill set and expand product knowledge to maximize value and to deliver quality services to our clients.

    • Coaching and mentoring peer Solution Architects and sales teams around the products, technologies, and services.

    • Ensuring the feasibility of the proposed solution with the delivery and product teams.

    • Writing Statement of Work (SOW) documents —ensuring that all technical needs along with legal and compliance needs are all satisfied.

    • Traveling to Client sites, conferences, and other related events as required.

    You’ll need to have:

    • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline and/or directly related equivalent experience

    • Six or more years of relevant experience in architecting, designing, implementing, and/or transforming large, complex Customer Experience (CX) solutions

    • The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge, significant design, and transformation experience in one or more of the CX cloud platforms Genesys Cloud, Cisco WebEx CC, and Cisco WebEx CCE

    • The ideal candidate will have experience with IVR/Conversational IVR, Workforce Optimization, Compliance solutions

    • Experience migrating premise-based CX technologies to cloud based service

    • Four or more years of experience in the tech industry, pre-sales, customer-facing, consulting or other relevant technical experience; demonstrated experience presenting to C-suite leadership

    • Demonstrated ability to deliver effective customer presentations and customer-facing material

    • Willingness to travel

    Where you’ll be working

    In this mobile role, you'll primarily work from customer or field location(s), with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in-person training and meetings.

    If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $117,000.00 and $239,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is a commission based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
